H.H. The XIVth Dalai Lama
Spiritual and temporal leader of Tibet. In exile, His Holiness has travelled to almost all parts of the world, spreading the message of peace, compassion, universal responsibility and interreligious understanding. He has been awarded many national and international prizes, including the Nobel Peace Prize of 1989. He is the author of several books including "The Opening of the Wisdom Eye", "The Union of Bliss and Emptiness", "A Human Approach to World Peace" and "The Global Community and the Need for Universal Responsibility".
